1) Object

These general conditions of sale are concluded between:

Hereinafter "the user"

These conditions are intended to define the terms of distance selling between Boutique Petits Pas or Aux Petits Pas and the user, from order to payment and delivery. They regulate all the steps necessary for placing the order and ensure the follow-up of this order between the contracting parties.

The order implies irrevocable acceptance of the general conditions of sale. The general conditions may be subject to modifications, the applicable conditions are those in force on the site petitspas.ca and auxpetitspas.ca on the date the user places the order.

The user declares:

2) Products

The products offered for sale by Boutique Petits Pas or Aux Petits Pas are those listed on the site petitpas.ca or auxpetitspas.ca, on the day the user visits the site.

Products are available for sale while stocks last. < br>
The products offered for sale are described with the greatest possible accuracy. However, if errors or omissions occur in this presentation, the responsibility of Boutique Petits Pas and Aux Petits Pas could not be engaged. The photographs and texts illustrating the products have only an indicative value and have no contractual value.


3) Price

The prices are presented in Canadian Dollars excluding Federal and Provincial Taxes which are included in the total at the conclusion of the sale (Basket) and apply according to the province of origin of the order. The remaining delivery costs could be charged to the user except special conditions and eligibility for free delivery.

The delivery prices indicated consider the prices of the carriers on the day of the order. If the rate were to be modified, these changes could be reflected in the price of the items without the user being informed beforehand.

Boutique Petits Pas or Aux Petits Pas reserves the right to modify its prices at any time. The products will be invoiced based on the rates in effect at the time of registration of the order.

For orders to be shipped to provinces other than Quebec, taxes will be readjusted according to the applicable tax laws the province concerned. For countries outside of Canada, the products are sold duty free, and any customs duties or other local taxes are the responsibility of the recipient.

Tax exemption for Aboriginals 

On presentation of their band number, an Aboriginal person can claim tax exemption for a purchase or order delivered entirely on a reserve. For web orders, proof must be provided in electronic format.

4) Order

Any order implies express and irrevocable acceptance of the prices and descriptions of the products available for sale.

The user declares to have read and irrevocably accepted these general conditions of sale before placing their order. The validation of the order therefore implies acceptance of the general conditions of sale.

To allow the user to return to his order before confirming it definitively, Boutique Petits Pas or Aux Petits Pas have created screens of validations and acceptance. The order will not be definitively registered until the last validation of the payment screen of the order by bank card, credit card, Shopify, PayPal or bank transfer. As of the last click of acceptance, the order is considered as irrevocable. It is expected, from the registration of the order, the sending of an email to the user. This email confirms that Boutique Petits Pas or Aux Petits Pas have considered the order, and not that the product ordered is available.

5) Payment

The delivery slip will be inserted in the package containing the product (s) ordered. The user having placed an order will have the possibility of printing his invoice by connecting to the site, in the history of his orders provided for this purpose.

7) Shipping costs, conditions, and delivery times 

We only deliver everywhere in Canada.

Delivery is free on purchases of $ 99 or more before taxes.

Delivery is free for gift cards.

Furniture is not applicable to the free delivery service. Certain exceptions may be applicable to the free delivery service in the case of certain rocking chairs that are part of the stock program. Consult the product sheets or in store.

The delivery costs are $ 9.99 on any order of $ 99 or less before taxes.

The delivery costs are calculated and added to the price of your purchases before the final confirmation of your order.

Delivery times

You will be given a notice and a tracking number by email so that you can follow the path of your package when your order leaves our warehouse.

Items are sent by Canada Post expedited mail within 24 to 48 hours after your order. You will receive your goods within 2 to 10 business days depending on the province or territory of destination.

The time may be extended due to factors beyond our control, such as weather conditions, strike, etc.

Specific conditions

Orders may be subject to certain verifications when the delivery address differs from the billing address.

Petits Pas Boutique reserves the right to cancel and refund any order. An email confirming the refund of your order will be sent to you.

Except in cases of force majeure, the delivery times will be, within the limit of available stocks, those indicated below. Boutique Petits Pas or Aux Petits Pas will not be responsible for delays caused by its suppliers. Boutique Petits Pas or Aux Petits Pas will not be held liable for late delivery.

Boutique Petits Pas or Aux Petits Pas reserves the right to choose the transporter and guarantees the correct delivery of products.

Shipping costs plus taxes, if applicable, are based on weight and dimensions of the package.

CAUTION: In the event of an error on the part of the customer in the delivery address, which does not allow the carrier the proper delivery of the package to its destination, the Responsibility Boutique Petits Pas or Aux Petits Pas cannot be engaged and this, for any kind whatsoever.

In this case, the package will be returned to the premises of Boutique Petits Pas or Aux Petits Pas which will be responsible for contacting the customer using the contact details that the latter has provided them, to obtain a correct delivery address. From then on, the parcel will be redirected to the correct address, but this redirection will remain the exclusive responsibility of the customer. The latter will be able to receive his parcel against reimbursement of the amount of the shipping costs linked to this reshipment.


8) Returns and exchanges

90 days return policy

You can return merchandise within 90 days from the date of receipt of your items for a full refund of the purchase price, except for delivery costs.

The periods with very high traffic require us to move the processing of returns & exchanges:

  • From December 24 to 31.
  • January 1 and 2.
  • Black Friday.
  • Black Friday Week.
  • Maternity Week.

    Here are the Simple Steps to perform:

    Indicate the products you wish to return including your invoice number and the reason for your return.

    We will return your return label by email.

    Drop the product in its box or shipping bag.

    Print the label and affix it to the package.

    Drop it off at the nearest post office.

    Write down and keep your proof and coli tracking number.

    Allow two weeks for receipt and inspection of the product in our warehouse.

    The purchase price of the item will be refunded to you on the same payment method used.

    We will deduct $ 15 + tax from the amount of your refund to cover the cost of return.

    The products you wish to return must be mailed to our warehouse. It is possible to return in person from Monday to Wednesday 11 a.m. to 5 p.m., Thursday 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. and Friday 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.

    The products must be in new condition

    The products must be in perfect condition, in new condition. The products must meet the following conditions:

    Are in their original packaging, with labels and instruction booklets.

    Not used, washed, or tried.

    Have not been assembled or attempted to be assembled.

    Be clean, free of unusual odors and animal hair / hair.

    Specific non-returnable products and are considered 'final sales'.

      • Factory-sealed products and certain specific products are not returnable due to their nature, safety and hygiene issues.

    These include, but are not limited to:

        • Car seats.
        • Hygiene and breastfeeding items.
        • Food products.
        • Gift cards.
        • Products in final liquidation.
        • Demonstrators.
        • Furniture and Large items

    They must be returned with the original packaging and materials. Packaging materials must be intact unless otherwise instructed by your delivery team.

    Returning these items without the original packaging may incur additional charges which will be deducted from your refund.

    Return of defective, damaged, or non-invoice products

    Do not refuse delivery and accept delivery. Then contact our customer service team within 10 days of delivery. A photo of the damaged packaging / product can be requested: info@auxpetitspas.ca / 450-903-2322 or in the Boutique at 450 rue du Parc, Suite 111 Saint-Eustache, QC J7R 7G6.

    Photos of the product concerned, and your order number must be included in your shipment. We will then contact you to replace your item at no additional cost from you.

    Return times

    Returns are processed Monday to Wednesday 11 a.m. to 5 p.m., Thursday 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. and Friday 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.

    The return process begins only after acknowledging receipt of the package and validating if the content meets the conditions for return.

    During peak periods and promotions, the return process can take up to 5 working days.

    The company Petits Pas or Aux Petits Pas has, for all stages of access to the site, the ordering process, delivery, or subsequent services, only an obligation of means. The responsibility of Boutique Petits Pas or Aux Petits Pas cannot be engaged for any inconvenience or damage inherent in the use of the Internet, in particular a break in service, an external intrusion, or the presence of computer viruses, or in fact qualified as force majeure, in accordance with case law.

    Furthermore, Boutique Petits Pas or Aux Petits Pas disclaims its responsibility for any breach of its contractual obligations in the event of force majeure or fortuitous, including without this list being exhaustive, strike, fire, disaster, breakdown and in general any event that does not allow the proper execution of orders.

    12) Integrity
    If one of the clauses of this contract is invalid by a change in legislation, regulations or by a court decision, this cannot affect the validity and compliance with these general conditions of sale.

    13) Duration

    These conditions apply throughout the duration of the online services offered by Boutique Petits Pas or Aux Petits Pas.

    14) Applicable Law-Disputes

    These general conditions of sale are subject to the Civil Code of Quebec, Canadian Rights and the Quebec and Canadian Charter of Rights and Freedoms

    In the event of a dispute, the parties agree, before any legal action, to seek an amicable solution.

    Only Canadian courts will be competent.
    The competent court in case of litigation will be the judicial district of Laval.
